If we learn nothing more from today’s readings I hope we learn from Mark that Jesus made time, even very early in the morning time, to pray.
About six months ago I took up the challenge +to be a part of “The Company of Pastors” through the PC(USA).
Daily I commit myself to prayer, scripture reading and readings from our Book of Confessions.
This has been one of my greatest challenges and also one of my greatest joys and rewards. I feel so much more centered. I am able to accomplish so much more if I take time to read the Bible and pray.
I challenge you to take time, each day to read the Bible and to pray. I know that God will bless your efforts.
